ABOUT ME

I'm a 23 year old lit major from Melbourne, Australia. I love to meet new people, have adventures, cook (especially big meals for lots of people where you have to get your hands dirty), read, think deep thoughts, go out and drink whiskey and wine. I think i'm pretty easy-going, I guess, and I like all kinds of people. I am very open-minded, and open about myself, kind of opinionated if given the chance, but also chill if that's the vibe. I laugh easily, and am always down for a good conversation about anything and everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I became a couch surfer after my housemates had a few different people come to stay. It was so lovely having them over, to cook them food and go party with them and wish them well on their way, or even more lovely to see them stick around, get jobs, become Melbourne friends.

Interests

I like to spend time exploring cities, riding bikes, going out to bars, going to cafes, reading, cooking. What else? Bike riding, swimming, seeing nature. Dancing, badly. Otherwise, lazing around socializing with housemates or friends chatting about anything from the merits of home-brew to the state of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A recent amazing thing was arriving in a new city with no friends, frightened and lonely, and in six months making a wonderful life for myself and making the most wonderful friends of all time. The sense of pride and achievement at conquering my fears is beyond words.
