About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life, contemplate, try to stay healthy, explore.
ABOUT ME
I was born in 1972 so at the time of writing this I'm 39, though I'll be 40 soon. I was living in Korea and teaching English for the last nine years.I'm married to a wonderful Korean woman. We are long distance for a little while as I'm about to study in Thunder Bay and she is waiting for her permanent residency visa and taking care of our apartment in Korea until the contract is finished. I enjoy sports, especially ball hockey and hacky sack. I like skiing also and sometimes like scuba diving. I like to travel, and have been to most countries in South Eastern Asia and a few in Asia. I am also a drummer, and sometime singer / poet. I love to jam, especially creating original music
PHILOSOPHY
Be honest, strive for balance in life, don't be too hard on yourself or other people, try not to walk all over people and don't allow others to walk all over you. Be open minded and respectful. I'm a secular humanist but think live and let live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just joined, no apartment right now cause I just moved back to Canada to go to school.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
none officially, though in the past travelling as a busker some people let me crash, met some really nice people, most were other musicians that saw me busking and put me up.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll give just about anything a try, I love movies, especially a good drama, biopic, or sometimes super hero or fantasy movies, I love all sorts of music, especially live music with good musicians who put their heart into it and are creative, the genre isn't so important, just that it's good and honest. I'll read almost anything, but always seem to come back to fantasy. I like to read non fiction a lot as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled around most of South East Asia and seen a lot and done quite a bit. Especially memorable was volunteering at the Cambodian Landmine Museum.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a bit of Korean and quite a bit about Korea since I lived there for nine years and am married to a Korean. I can play drums so could teach a bit of that I guess, and I know a bit about recording music but am not a pro.
