One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first trip outside Canada was in Mexico, at Riviera Maya, in 2015, in an all inclusive resort. One day we went to cozumel island on our own with the city bus and the ferry. After walking a couple of minutes, a taximan approached us and suggest a beautiful beach were there is not a bunch people (and of course a bunch of tourist). It was the best day of the trip, not because of the beauty of the beach, but we had the chance to meet some locals, “leave the beaten path” and eat the best club sandwich I have ever eaten! From this day, I knew that I’m not the all inclusive resort type, I’m more like a backpacking person and I can’t wait to do my first trip as a backpacker next winter!

April 2019 : Costa Rica was amazing!! 1 of the highlights is scuba diving for the first time and see a giant manta ray, sharks, octopus and a lot of fishes. The thing that I appreciate the most : the people I met!
