About Me
Hey there! I'm a 26-year-old language enthusiast and technician from Taiwan. As someone deeply passionate about languages and cultural exchange, I'm always excited to practice and share languages with others. I'm fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese, while also learning Spanish, Japanese, and Vietnamese - so I'd love to have some language exchange sessions!
I've explored quite a bit of East and Southeast Asia, including Japan, Korea, China, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Macau. These experiences have taught me to appreciate the beauty of different cultures and the warmth of local hospitality. Sometimes I travel solo, other times with friends and family - each style bringing its own unique adventures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently, I'm planning my round-the-world journey, and I chose Couchsurfing because I believe the best way to truly understand a place is through its people, not just its tourist attractions. I'm looking forward to meaningful conversations, sharing stories, and learning about your local culture and daily life.
While I'm quite independent and comfortable exploring on my own, I truly cherish opportunities to connect with hosts and fellow travelers. I respect house rules and personal space, but I'm always up for joining local activities or sharing a meal together.
As a guest, I can contribute by teaching you some Chinese/Taiwanese, sharing stories about Asia, or even cooking some Taiwanese dishes if you're interested. I believe in creating genuine connections and leaving every place with new friendships and beautiful memories.
Looking forward to meeting you and experiencing your city through a local's perspective!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled alone in Vietnam for 2 weeks, from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. I stayed with local families, learned some Vietnamese words, and tried lots of local food. It was amazing!
