About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning Spanish and going to Latin America next spring

ABOUT ME

All about me, in one little box? Unfortunately (?) I am not that flat :P

PHILOSOPHY

I have a very strong morale, although it does not nessecarily correspond with the traditional one... vegetarianism, vulcan philosophy (if you're a trekker you know what i mean, logic and far east-stuff), queer, feminism, and some kind of green anarchism influence my life a lot. But of course as a true queer, I scorn all labels, and mix everything as i wish. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My ex room mate and I have had some couch surfers, and since she moved out I have to take care of it all myself :P

I joined here to get to practise more languages. I love languages, especially german, which I now master quite good. I love all languages, have tried Russian, Danish, Nederlands, Esperanto and Toki Pona, but now SPANISH is the big deal... and if you know a Mayan language I'm also eager to learn :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted quite a bit, but never surfed myself

Music, Movies, and Books

I like science fiction, both in music and films. I'm especially fond of cyborgs from the 80's (love the special effects!) like Terminator 1&2&3 and Robocop. Other fictional characters I love is Seven of Nine, Tuvok and Janeway from Star Trek Voyager.

in books i like social realism, but I don't really get to read that much that isn't environmental anymore...

Music, I have made quite a long musical journey, from Simon and Garfunkel and David Bowie and The Ark via Rammstein to mostly electronic music like The Knife and Björk and Laibach. The basic rule is that if it's hard and electronic, in German or a language I don't understand, it's bascially always good. But, I do listen to quite a variety of music.
