ABOUT ME

I'm a laid back person who simply loves to have fun and see the world. I took a break from traveling to try the traditional 9-5 life, and now am working on getting back on the road. I like a pretty balanced mix of mellow evenings and nightlife, so I get along with introverts and extroverts alike. If you like to kick back and have a couple drinks or a cup of coffee and trade stories, we'll get along just fine.

PHILOSOPHY

Live minimally and live fully. I haven't quite mastered this one, but it's an ongoing process. Why let a bunch of stuff (and the subsequent debt) keep you from enjoying everything life has to offer?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Sadly, none yet, but that will soon change! Well, none through CouchSurfing.com, at least. I spent a summer running camps around the US with three other wonderful ladies and we couch surfed more than we stayed in hotels that summer.

Interests

Crafts, travel...duh, food (all of it. I'll try anything once!), and great company.

Beautiful mornings, good coffee, late nights with friends, hot tea, good beer, and wine rank pretty high on the list, too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love travel logs, especially at times when I'm unable to travel. Generally, I throw whatever's free on Amazon onto my kindle and give it a spin.

As for music, it depends on my mood. It typically alternates between really dancy pop music or *gasp* rap and hip hop and mello chick folk stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm a bit of an extreme sports fan, so surfing in Australia, bungee jumping in Korea, and white water rafting in Ecuador and Korea were all pretty memorable.
