Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to understand a culture by talking and living with locals, which I may not be able to see the famous sightseeing spots, but to discover something even more interesting, like picking mushrooms and wild herbs in the forest, looking at graffiti in ruins and hitchhiking along the way.
My first CS experience was being invited to see a farm with some lovely Hungarian Mangalitsa Pigs (if I rmb correctly:P). Super excited and funny experience!!

Interests

I love to walk slowly so that I don't miss tiny little beautiful things around the corner. I love to visit local markets to understand the culture of a place starting from what they eat. I love to grow vegetables and herb, and of course to cook them and eat them. I love to be in nature, mountains and ocean that remind me how little I am and how big the world is. I love to write letter and draw postcards to record the bright and beautiful things I experience in life. I love to collect objects from nature where inspirations and peace are from.
I love meeting new people to understand the world a little more, but am sometimes too shy to start a conversation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Listening to the breath of whales.
Living with a circus family in the middle of the forest and watching them practise.
Knowing that there are hundreds of adjectives describing snow in Sami language.
Being able to travel to so many amazing places all over the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am willing to share and to teach everything I know, for example the languages, cooking, drawing...
I want to learn SO MANY things! Surfing (not just couchsufing), skating, playing violin, cooking Indian cuisines, developing film photography, permaculture(!), identifying animals and plants in the wild, and so much more...
