ABOUT ME

I live by the mantra "Life begins at the end of your comfort zone". So, with that, I upsticks and decided to travel the world which I have been doing for the last 5 years. I love sharing stories and hearing other peoples. I have been blessed over the years to meet some wonderfully generous, caring people through my own travels. They've taken me into their homes and shared their food, humour and kindness. I truly believe that what makes a travel experience exceptional is all about the people you meet along the way. I am very easy going, open minded, conscientious, up for a good time and love to laugh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interests

Cycling and skateboard; my main mode of transport and for recreation, you will hardly see me without either :)
Hiking; I just recently walked the Camino de Santiago across northern Portugal and Nothern Spain. I love the peace of monotonous walking.
Surfing and swimming; especially outside and in extreme weather conditions.
Yoga.
Camping.
Gardening is one of my passions, wherever I go i will try to find a spot to create a little garden or green space.
Reading
Art; I especially enjoy visiting galleries and architecturally significant buildings in every city I visit.
Food, especially sampling local dishes when visiting new places.
