I was born in Japan, but I mainly grew up in Kelowna, Canada and Livermore, CA. I am a 4th year student studying chemistry at UC Santa Barbara.
Although I enjoy geeking out to cool science articles and experiments, I really love being active--whether it is doing traditional team sports or going on an adventure out in nature. I especially love to go on new adventures, especially hikes or trips that I have never done! I also love to just chill, and when I get the chance, I enjoy sitting on the beach drinking a beer. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One thing I want to do in life is travel the world! I think couchsurfing would only make my experiences on this journey a whole lot better. I want to meet locals who can point me (and hopefully join me) towards the best places to go (bars/restaurants, hiking trails, etc.)! No one knows a place better than someone who lives there!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I will listen to pretty much anything from Country to Rap. Favorite artist is definitely Eminem--he is a lyrical genius.

Movies: There are a lot...but I especially enjoyed Avatar, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Hobbit trilogy, and Interstellar.

Books: The Harry Potter series...I love Harry Potter. Not so much books but rather manga/manhwa (Tower of God). Comics too! (Asterix)
