Overview
About Me
I'm Egyptian born and bred -- but I spent the best years of my life in Scotland and I think of it as my second home. What can I say? Hame is where the heart is! 🏴
I met some extremely generous people on my travels, so whenever I'm back in Egypt, I like to pay the kindness forward by hosting fellow travelers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I first discovered Couchsurfing, it felt like I found something that I didn't even know I was looking for! Since then, I've hosted, traveled and stayed with many fellow travelers and I can safely say I've never had a bad experience.
Interests
I play the guitar and Irish whistle. I used to teach myself foriegn languages in my free time, so I can speak a tiny bit of a few. I enjoy cooking and baking.

Music, Movies, and Books
I mainly listen to and play metal, however, I also love jazz and Scottish/Irish traditional music.
I like those obscure/artsy/indie cult classics that leave you wondering what the hell you just watched!
I read whatever strikes my fancy; classics, philosophy, Russian literature and magical realism are among my favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked the West Highland Way and summited my first Munro, Ben Lomond, on the third day.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some of the languages I know, guitar basics or cooking techniques. I'd like to learn about your country, culture and what got you into traveling.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm always happy to cook for my hosts. I realize some people might not have time but it's great when we get to cook and share a meal together.
