Overview
About Me
I am 27 year old designer, carpenter, fabricator.
Currently on the road in North America, I’ll end up living in Canada at some point in the next month. I lived in London for the past 3 years, previously in Bristol and Amsterdam. I grew up in rural Somerset.
I like to think that I'm a very open minded person and love to talk away into the early hours with new and interesting people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To share in a paradigm for enabling travel in a more sustainable, lower waste way
Interests
I am interested in all aspects of art and design, I work on many of my own projects including a clothing brand and a zine. I'm particularly interested in bridging the gap between hard sustainability focus and mainstream consumer focused design.
I also skate and cycle a lot, I build bikes for myself and also to sell. As an environmentally conscious person, I made the decision 6 years ago to cease travelling by plane, and have travelled all over Europe since with only my bicycle and a few trains.
In the past I was very engaged in the early watercooled vw scene, having built a few cars and collected a lot of rare parts and accessories. I am a good mechanic and always maintained my own cars before giving up driving
Currently riding motorcycles through North America with my brother!
