About Me

I'm a married full-time musician with a special needs cat that needs to wear diapers everyday. It's a bit hard to find a pet hotel willing to take her in so I have to bring her on trips sometimes when I travel (within Malaysia).
Currently based in Kuala Lumpur.
Saving as much as I can so that I can travel a lot before settling down to have children (currently 25, hubby is 38).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My husband and I used to busk for 2 years at Jonker Walk, Malacca and we made such wonderful backpacker/traveler friends during that time. Hearing all their lovely travel stories really inspired us and sparked a fire within us.
Now it's our turn to travel too!

Interests

We are in a musical duo called SATWO (Satu is '1' in Malay, combined with '2' in English, thus SATWO). I play the piano and sing while my husband plays the guitar and sings harmony. We cite Pink Floyd, Star Sailor, Ash, The Beatles and Radiohead as our major influences. We are in the midst of recording a full Malay album under a prestigious Malaysian record label called Luncai Emas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Raising my special needs rescue cat from the age of 2 months till her current age of 2 years and 5 months!
She has severe nerve and spinal cord damage so she has no control over the lower half of her body. She has to wear diapers daily as she is incontinent and I also need to help with her bowel movements weekly. She only eats boiled tuna. How she sits is how she walks and her name, Kesot, means 'to shuffle'. She needs me to scratch her ears for her. The proudest thing I've done is take care of Kesot.
