Other than finishing school, I'm still figuring it out.

ABOUT ME

Academics encompass most of my life at this point,and will continue to for a long while, but I still know how to have a good time. I love going to school and learning about history and human behavior. I love big cities but do enjoy nature and being out in the middle of nowhere.

In some senses, I consider myself a bit old fashioned, and am often described as such by others. I can be quiet and reserved, unless something rouses my interest which brings me out of my shell and I become overly enthusiastic.

Interests

So many things... I do love leaning about human behavior, history, religion, language, etc. This is why I studied anthropology, I'm interested in anything concerning people.

And I also have a fondness for hats.

Music, Movies, and Books

Concerning music, I do love post-rock and folk, but I always find myself returning to good ol' Punk Rock. One area of my life where I am not old fashioned. Dead Boys, Crass, GBH, White Stripes, Bad Religion, you get the idea. I do love the occasional classical as well. Prokofiev is one of my favorites.

As for movies, I love horror films and westerns, but not the hokey kinds. The Assassination of Jesse James is a good one. Anything thought provoking as well.

Finally books. I'm a bit picky when it comes to books, but McCarthy, Dickens, and Lovecraft are among my favorite authors.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you a lot of interesting things that usually do not have any practical use.

I am always open to learning new things, from anyone. Knowledge is rarely if ever a bad thing.
