About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To inundate my life with perspectives and knowledge. To reach out to different cultures, people, and languages with an open mind. To add value to the world with my own talents and passions.

This quote from James Thurber resonates with me:

"To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life.”"

ABOUT ME

Friendly, hospitable, warm, entertaining, engaging, funny, easy-going, gives-good-hugs, a good listener.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to the CS community after moving in with my girlfriend in Washington, DC. We hosted a couple surfers from Europe. I got so much out of it that I fell in love with CS and the message it spreads. I have since used couchsurfing on a 6 week backpacking trip through parts of South America. We also host surfers in our current home, Denver Colorado.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have simply talked to people we have hosted, and that was a treat in and of itself. I am fascinated with learning about different perspectives/languages/cultures. I've gone out for a drink with CS's and all in all just had a good time.
