About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meeting the world, one person at a time.

ABOUT ME

I am an attorney, but I'm not boring or megolamaniacal. I promise. I joined couch surfing to meet people. I don't get to travel as much as I'd like; work keeps me quite busy. So, I thought I would invite the world to me. I am a very tolerant person and very open to other ideas and perspectives. I'd love to welcome you to my couch and show you my life. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to stay on other couches someday!

PHILOSOPHY

If you're afraid of death, you aren't truly living.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm happy to provide a place to stay or just a local's perspective on Denver.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few couchsurfers, but I haven't yet couchsurfed myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love good music, so I have pretty eclectic favorites. Americana is my favorite (including Bluegrass, Blues, Folk, etc.) but I also like EuroPop, electronica, Indie Rock, and Jam Fusion. I'm not a film snob, but I like watching movies that transport me out of my everday life, either physically or spiritually. I love reading, but I don't have a particular favorite genre. I'm open to anything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel fortunate to have been some amazing places, and it is hard to pick just one. But, if I have to, I think standing in Red Square in 1995 was the most amazing experience of my life. It truly opened my eyes to the value of travel and I still remember the sense of history and awe I felt.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know if I have any special skills. I'm studying law, so maybe I can help with some free legal advice? I can also help teach you how to get out and enjoy the outdoors--I spent a few years as a wilderness backpacking guide.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
