About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Having no expectation, getting out in the world and seeing it a whole new way by meeting new people
ABOUT ME
I originally grew up in Marblehead Massachusetts, about 10 miles north of Boston and right on the ocean. It is a colonial-style American town, very quaint, and THE ideal place for the 4th of July, you can feel the history there more than anywhere, plus the fireworks over our harbor are great.
After school I worked in NYC for a while before moving out to Los Angeles. Since the move I have started to have a serious love-affair with California, truly the most dynamic state in the USA. I've taken up surfing and met great people.
I enjoy a good game of basketball, I have also been getting into soccer/futbol and volleyball. I am doing what I can to learn Spanish, and enjoy buying books that look really good on my shelf but never finding the time to read them :)
PHILOSOPHY
Every 5 years I think I have it figured out.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted several people passing through, and I also have begun doing a bit of surfing myself and can't wait to do more in my travels.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Recently at Turks and Caicos I had a wonderful experience with my host, who really ran that island like a boss. Everywhere we went there was another person to say hello to. I felt very welcome and in no time had a full grasp of the island, which has an eclectic mix of people with great stories and humor. Also the jitney cabs are great.
