About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I'm originally from Argentina. Nevertheless, I lived in Barcelona during 10 years, with some periods in Madrid and Sevilla too. In 2014 I lived in Iceland for work and fun. Then I started moving around until I find a place I want to stay. From Iceland I started a 5 month trip around South America and finally I decided to stay in my home town, Tucumán, for an uncertain period of time. Then I moved to France, then to Barcelona again and now I'm travelling with my wife, Aida, by bicycle along the Silk Road!

Despite this is my personal CS profile, Aida and I share this profile in Warm Showers when travelling by bike: https://es.warmshowers.org/user/104215

I studied Geography in Barcelona. I think I'm a Geographer since I am a kid. I love travelling, spreading my world, sharing with people and add more landscapes to my memories. I love maps!!

I love cooking and, therefore, eating. Really, good food feeds not only our physical bodies, but our spiritual ones. I don't think I am a great cook but I learnt some things while travelling, from my mother and some inventions I still should improve :P

My goal is life is to be happy. To achieve this I travel, one of the best methods to say yes to new things, let them in into my life (or not), meeting amazing people and accumulate tons of good memories. Travelling made me also much more critic with what I like and what I don't, I choose better and more carefully than before, even tough I still do mistakes.

PHILOSOPHY

- You are responsible of your decisions. Make it happen.

- Think and look for the positive point in everything, it's always there.

- Nothing is that complicated, take it easy.

- Break the routine!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got really involved in CS when I travelled to Marseille. Since then I can't stop. I have been hosting and mainly surfing during these last years. Is difficult for me to host because I am moving all the time, but when I stay quite for a while I am always happy to have couchsurfers at my place. Sometimes I take part of some activities organised in some cities as well, as meetings or other activities posted in the website.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a lot of host and surfing experiences, not only via couchsurfing, but just meeting people while travelling. I'm always ready to meet new people during the trip who's willing to open the door, enjoy sharing new experiences and comparing cultures. I also love to offer accommodation to random travellers I found on my way, whenever I can.

My experience in couchsurfing and independently of this site goes far beyond my references. I'm not exactly sure how many people I hosted travelling, I would say around 40, and surfed in around the double.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everybody has something to teach you. Listening and humility are crucial for such a process.

We can share some mates together ;)
