About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meeting new people, discovering new cultures & cities and having fun. I like to go to new places, parcs, bars, restaurants, everything that can be fun!

I enjoy diversity and I am always curious to learn from how other people live. I think this helps me to challenge my beliefs and become a better person.

I am currently preparing for a 10 miles run and a half-triathlon swimming leg so I focus my spare time on sports.

ABOUT ME

I am originary from Romania and I have grew up there. For the past 5 years I have been living, studying and working in France, Germany and Netherlands. I have initially started my education in architecture but I realized I prefer finance so I adapted along the way with a totally new environment of work and lifestyle.

I have been traveling a bit around Europe, but less outside and I would like to learn more about other countries in order to focus my next travels on the best locations. :)

I am currently working in an investmemt fund and I am located in Amsterdam.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I meet, I visit and I host people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met extraordinary people through couchsurfing. So far I have had only positive experiences and I managed to create friendships that lasted over the years; I believe this is one of the main satisfaction of engaging in the Couchsurfing community.

I met people by hosting, traveling or just going out and sharing experiences; Couchsuring has been part of my accommodation abroad and I am glad to have met very good quality and open minded persons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have held a speech in front of 500 people. Amazing feeling!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am eager to share and hear stories of unique experiences that would allow each of us to learn from one another.

I believe the beauty of the couchsurfing community stays in the high diversity of people that are willing to share exciting experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could teach you to ride a motorcycle, to snowboard and to speak my native language, Romanian.

I could share insights regarding Eastern European culture and the countries where I lived/studied/worked (France, Germany, Netherlands).

I would also be happy to talk about my professional activities in finance/investing.

Or simply to share stories and having a beer. :)
