Postive, happy, adventurous, solutionist, open-minded, love to eat, laugh and share! Communication is high on my list of importants, but so is respecting space. I appreciate long talks (especially if there's coffee!), as well as respecting everyone's personal space and need for quiet.
I rarely drink, but don't mind being around people who enjoy alcohol.
My home is in Belize, but my current travels have led me to Quebec for some exploration and then heading back to USA to research/experience facilitating alternative education.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Opened an experimental Art Center with my husband. We hosted the art work that was out of the norm(jaguars and tucans) for our area as well as providing a space for our local artisans to display their crafts, like wine, herbal medicine, local music, and even a seed & plant exchange. The art center is currently closed, as we both pursue our learning journeys, so that when we return hope we are well-equipped to expand on this idea into a well-rounded learning center.

Teach& Share- Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nutrition, Preparing herbal remedies, creating non-toxic health & beauty products

Learn- I am interested in learning about mushroom cultivation, welding, sailing, North American(where I am currently exploring/travelling) plants &their properties, as well as expanding my knowledge & practice of nutrition, just to name a few things. My life is a giant learning adventure and I'm always open to learning about whatever someone wants to take the time to share with me!
My primary learning focus right now is on "Alternative Education"(mostly inspired by democratic schools like sudbury/alc and my own journey of un-schooling ) and how I can develop a community atmosphere focused on and supporting self-directed learning, so when I return home to Belize I can open an educational facility to support my community's drive to learn.
