ABOUT ME

I'm a relaxed individual who loves traveling and visiting my many friends/family on the way. I work in Halifax and have lived here for some time. Here will always be home but I won't be here forever. Until such time, my couch is open.
I'm an outdoors fanatic and often will use my backyard as a campout spot when there is no one to go into the woods with.

PHILOSOPHY

Sun or rain, I can never be sure. I'd recommend wearing a hat.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and like putting couches to use as much as I can. I like attending gatherings wherever I end up, as CS'ers are among the best type to be with. I spread the good word to all ears available, people are always interested in the CS concept because it JUST MAKES SENSE!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While hitchhiking at various locations across Canada, it's not uncommon to have people invite me over for dinner and sometimes even a place to hang my hat for the night. Its this kind of trust and even benevolence among relative strangers that astounds me and keeps me wanting for travel.
I have put many a family and friends couch to use, and would like to give back a little where its needed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Hitchhiked across Canada, coast to coast.
2) Witnessed a meteor light up and careen through a silent New Brunswick night among friends on a beach.
3) Had a a 40 man search & rescue team, complete with helicopter and mobile command centre, search for lil old me: just to find me and my party cooking eggs&bacon and having a grand old time...not lost either.
