About Me

Hey there! I'm an architect who loves arts, good music, photography and get to know people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

"Meeting people from all across the world" sounds great and that's why I'm here.

Interests

I'm curious person, I'd like to learn new things everday. I'm enjoying modern art and performance art. I always love to going modern art museums in whereever I go.
I love taking photographs, I'm trying to improve it. I have Lomo Smena Symbol which is cute analogue camera.
I'm intrested in water sports like swimming and scuba diving. Also this year, I have began to orienteering, it's an amazing sport where I feel myself free in nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

For movies; Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Before Sunrise, Into the Wild, Captain Fantastic, Tracks, Frances Ha, The Grand Budapest Hotel (I do love Wes Anderson's movies)

For books; 1984- George Orwell, The Catcher in the Rye- J. D. Sallinger, The Alchemist- Paulo Coelho, Belye Nochi- Fyodor Dostoevsky

For music; there are couple names I always like to listen; Fleet Foxes, Radiohead, Kings of Leon, Beirut, Eddie Vedder, Elliot Smith, The Smiths
Also I'm into; RHCP, Tame Impala, and Mac Demarco
But also, I enjoy listening different kinds of music like jazz, blues, sometimes classical, sometimes electronic, psycheledic... (it really depends on my mood)

In turkish music, I can recommend you to listen; Athena, Baris Manco, and some djs like Hey Douglas, Islandman for some 70s turkish psycheledic-modern beats mix.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Solo travel

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to swim better (I'm teaching it in my freetimes) ,or basics of Turkish language.
I'm curious and open minded person, I'd like to learn anything about cultures, foods, music, sports, art etc.
P.s.: I started to learn Italian this year, it'd be nice to practice. But also, I'm open to any different languages too.
I can share my hitchhiking and camping experiences (there are not much, but I try :), also my knowledge about the Istanbul and architecture stuff.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If my analogue camera with me, it'd be my pleasure to take photographs.
I'm not a great chef but I believe I'm good at preparing breakfast (turkish people are known by their breakfast).
Also I'm a good listener. I'm willing to hear your view of life, stories and sharing mine. I think that's the reason why we surf.
