About Me
Wanderlust defines me well! I'm a passionate traveler and founder of Insignia Tours and Travel, a company dedicated to both inbound and outbound tourism in Bangladesh. My journey began over four years ago, exploring on a budget and diving into cultures, cuisines, and stories everywhere I go. Now, I aim to make a positive impact on the tourism industry with projects that focus on inclusive tourism, eco and sustainable green tourism, village tourism, and travel with purpose.
In the spirit of Couchsurfing's mission to build cultural connections, I'm excited to offer a free heritage walk for Couchsurfers visiting Bangladesh. This tour is entirely complimentary as my way of celebrating our shared ethos and creating meaningful exchanges. You can easily arrange it by reaching out via our website insigniatours.com or directly messaging me on WhatsApp at +8801750836862.
As a host, I've had the pleasure of guiding and hosting travelers from over 50 countries, sharing the beauty of Bangladesh and experiencing new cultures in return. I’m always up for showing visitors the hidden gems of Dhaka and beyond, sharing local foods, and introducing you to the vibrant community here.
For guests interested in staying with me:
Please be respectful, open-minded, and culturally curious.
Be mindful of cleanliness and house rules.
A willingness to share travel stories or insights from your culture is always appreciated!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is more than just a place to stay; it's a way to create cultural connections and meaningful experiences, and that’s exactly what drives me. As someone who has traveled extensively and now works in the tourism industry, I know that the best parts of any trip are the people you meet and the stories you share. That’s why I’m here – to give back to the travel community and build genuine connections with people from all over the world.
Through my travel company, Insignia Tours and Travel, I've been able to share Bangladesh’s beauty with travelers from 50+ countries. However, I see Couchsurfing as a unique opportunity to break away from the formalities of business and embrace a more personal, immersive way of connecting. I offer a free heritage walk in Dhaka for Couchsurfers, because I believe travel should be accessible, meaningful, and rooted in understanding each other's cultures.
Whether you’re here to discover Dhaka’s hidden corners, experience village life, or discuss sustainable tourism, I’m eager to share what I know and learn from you, too. Couchsurfing, to me, is a community of people who value authentic experiences, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most exhilarating adventures I've embarked on was a bungee jump in Nepal. Standing on the edge of the platform, overlooking the breathtaking landscape, my heart raced with a mix of excitement and fear. The moment I leaped, time seemed to stand still as I soared through the air, surrounded by stunning mountains and the roar of the river below.
What made this experience even more memorable was the way I managed to convince my fellow traveler and the owner of the bungee company to join in on the fun. Through some persuasive conversation and a bit of charm, we negotiated a deal that allowed us to participate at a significantly reduced cost, almost making it for free! The thrill of the jump was only matched by the satisfaction of having shared this unforgettable moment with others. It was an experience that truly captured the spirit of adventure and camaraderie.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am eager to share my language skills with you, offering lessons in both English and Bangla, along with the opportunity to learn how to prepare authentic Bangladeshi cuisine. Cooking together can be a delightful way to bond and experience my culture firsthand.
In return, I am interested in understanding how individuals adapt to new environments and their reactions to various incidents. Engaging in discussions about these experiences can provide valuable insights into different cultural perspectives.
I also look forward to sharing my personal experiences and philosophy on life with fellow travelers. By exchanging ideas and stories, we can foster a deeper understanding of one another's backgrounds and create meaningful connections.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a passionate traveler and host, I believe in the spirit of cultural exchange and creating meaningful connections. When you stay with me, you can expect a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere where we can share stories and experiences from our travels.
I can offer you insights into the local culture and hidden gems of my city, along with personalized recommendations for food, sightseeing, and activities. Whether it’s a tour of my favorite spots or a delicious homemade meal featuring traditional Bangladeshi cuisine, I'm excited to share my knowledge and make your stay memorable.
In addition to being a great conversationalist, I’m always up for exploring new places, trying out local dishes, and learning about different cultures. If you’re interested, I can even guide you on short trips around the area or help you plan your itinerary.
Most importantly, I believe in fostering a friendly and respectful environment where we can learn from each other. I look forward to hosting you and creating unforgettable memories together!
