ABOUT ME

I am a 26 year old Australian (born in New Zealand but grew up in Australia). I have lived in London, travelled Europe and the UK for a few years and planning on seeing the rest of the world!! :) Currently living back in Brisbane and hoping to explore my home town

MY PERSONALITY: Fun, out going, hard working, compassionate, honest and trust worthy, loving and helpful, willing and keen to learn new experiences/ languages/ culture and love a challenge. I LOVE ANIMALS! I cant wait to see the world and experience life. I like learning new things and being around exciting/happy people.

I enjoy baking, cooking and experienceing new cultural food, languages, reading, exploring, travel, dance and music, singing, rock climbing, adventure :)

Loved my 'European Tour': So many cities, so many adventures, too many lovely new friends and amazing hosts... There are still so many countries to travel!!!

WORK + EDUCATION HISTORY: I have worked and lived in a variety of different places. I graduated high school 2006, moved back to NZ and completed a Cert. 4 in International Travel and Tourism. I then worked at Club Med Lindeman Island in the Whitsudays for 8 months. I have worked in child care centres and have been a live in nanny in both Australia and London. I have expereince in Restaurants, kitchen hand, waitress, barista and functions, recepton and office work, Call Centre interviewee and supervisor. And now finally in the veterinary industry as a vet nurse.

Hoping to meet people who want to experience Brisbane and explore this beautiful city, and perhaps see more of Australia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing experience was in Bordeaux, with Mr Nicolas Fuchez.. amazing experience, only stayed with him for two nights.. he showed us around his city and all its wonder.. MOST AMAZING introduction to this great idea of Couch Surfing..

I have since stayed with a bunch more hosts in France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and London that have all been amazing experiences!!

Every one of my hosts has been kind, respectful and proven the good name of 'couch surfing'.. Such a great idea, and it truly works!! like minded people who understand travelling and new friendships..

I experienced only the best couch surfing this all over the world. I'm here now to meet new people and share in culture in my own home town.

I don't have a room or couch to share at the moment but hoping to change that soon so I can host as well.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Whale Watching - the whale swam under and around our boat then breeched and soared through the sky within a metre from the front of the boat/me. I watched everything from the tip of his nose and eye to the tip of his tail leave the water.. and got sprayed on the down fall :) it felt like it all happened in slow motion. AMAZING
