CURRENT MISSION

My objective is to live :) Not just to exist, but to really live. I want to see as many places, as many faces, and hear as many stories as possible in the limited times I have to travel and see other parts of the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm really a simple small town girl with a love for nature, adventure, and new experiences. However, living in New York City for the past 4 years for school, I have definitely discovered my entrepreneurial side and an insane work ethic. I love earning money, working hard for it, but at the same time, most of my happiest moments come from helping others.

PHILOSOPHY

Such a serious question and not enough pages in the world to begin to explain. In short, I live my life to leave this world a better place than I found it and to improve the lives of others, even if for a brief moment of kindness that may restore faith in humanity for somebody having a bad day.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have not had any CouchSurfing experiencs, but my current roommate in NYC Couchsurfed a lot while we were studying in Florence, Italy. When we returned to NYC we hosted a young man from Venice, Italy for a couple of days and it was a very lovely experience for me.

Centres d'intérêt

SPORTS! I LOVE soccer, tennis, and crew, but also enjoying playing just about anything.
NATURE! Anything to do with being outdoors makes me the happiest person in the world. There is nothing like sweating for four hours, legs on fire, backpack cutting into your shoulders, to finally break the tree line and see you are on top of the world! (sorry for the dirty details :)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I listen to just about every kind of music except country , christian stuff, and heavy metal screamo stuff that makes my ears bleed. But to each his own. I love books, always have, so I should probably pick one up soon. And I don't really watch that much TV or go to see movies mostly because I am cheap and don't want to spend the money to go to the movies (so expensive in NYC).

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can always teach English! I am a lifeguard, so I could teach swimming if the occasion ever arose. As for making things..hmmm...friendship bracelets anyone???

I would love more than anything to become fluent in as many languages as possible. I used to study Spanish and German in high school, so first on the list is to relearn these. Then on to French, Portuguese, Gaelic, Arabic, etc.
