About Me

Learned lessons in CS:

I really like the experiences CS allows me to enjoy. So far it has been amazing, cause I met such amazing people, hosting and through hangouts. But not everythings are flowers. :-(

It's amazing how the same situation can take people to different mind conditions and we never know what kind of traumas and bad experiences people can bring and which situations can trigger such traumas and fears.

If you are new in CS and never used it before, please search about its principle and put yourself in the experience before you jump on it.

In CS, people are not supposed to invite you to meet up a city or a country and offer his place. You want to travel, so you plan your trip and post the dates. You can request host and people could accept or not. If its the case that somebody has availability, they also offer to host you.

Be aware that probably your host/guest is someone from a different culture, religion, mores, history, so be kind, polite and respectful. Do your own schedule and be independent. If your host could join, it's a plus and have fun together, but he is not responsible for your trip and not obliged to babysit you.

Be a host or guest with your heart open. I always did and I'll keep doing.

Unfortunately bad experiences can happen.

If you think you run any risk and are in dangerous, send locations to some friends and always let people you know knows where you are and in which conditions. Do not accept any abuse. I already discussed this with some Couchsurfers and advised them on that. Please be careful!

Anyway, don't let the bad experiences stop you to dream and to believe in people.

I had a very bad experience which was a big sequence of misunderstandings that started with a Couchsurfing principle misunderstanding of a person using for the first time and brought some traumas and fears with her which was trigged by a specific situation that ended in a sad discussion.

I am very sad about the need of writing this and I don't deserve it to anyone.

--------------

I am Brazilian living in Luxembourg.
Open and easygoing guy that likes diversity, cultures, new experiences and enjoy life.

I really love travelling, but I also travel to work, so it might be the case that sometimes I won't be able to host in urgent occasions, but, you can try anyway.

I have space for 2, but just 1 couch that becomes a couple bed, very simple one. Be welcome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
