ABOUT ME

I would now call my self a professional traveler. who is trying to kick the habit now and has returned to The UK for at least two years.
It was never intentional one year in Australia turned into two. Followed by a year in New Zealand, then three months in Australia followed by one month in Malaysia, then sailing around the South Pacific for two months, followed by Australia for three month then New Zealand again for four months. That's four years of travel in all. I have to say I now love the freedom that traveling allows me. I have worked in a vast array of professions to make the money I need to travel. When revisiting Australia I remembered my love for sailing. I have completed my boat Certs that allow me to work world wide on commercial vessels.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been coach surfing for two years on and off now and had many great experiences with the people I have met. Often I meet only for drinks as I find it a great way to introduce myself and pass on information. I see couch surfing as a good way to meet new people helping each other out and as an exchange of skills interests and ideas. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and think very much as a pluralist, by that I mean that life is about helping each other out. I am keen to meet well traveled people. When I have a set place in UK I will set myself up as a host as long as my house mates agree.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

all couch surfing in Wellington was 99 percent positive. also met fellow couch surfers along the way and they have all been cool.

Children of Men. Books: The Alchemist, The valkyries,The Man who thought his wife was a hat,The curious incident of the dog in the night, War Of Don Emmanuel's Nether Parts, Senor Vivo & The Coca Lord, The Troublesome Offspring Of Cardinal Guzman,The Diving-Bell and the Butterfly. these are favorites at the moment but I read a lot and its quite a range of different stuff. Music, Funk, dumb, indie, drum and base some clever dance, rock, jazz, acid, jazz. bit of everything really.

I've seen a lot of New Zealand and most of the East and South coast of Australia and half the west. Also seen a lot of the islands of Vanuatu and New Caladonia, and some of Fiji Sailing on the Soren Larsen as a deck hand and cook . I have sailed from Brisbane to Cooktown and back down to Cairn's. I have also sailed some of the west coast, Dived the great barrier reef and the Ningaloo and swam with whale sharks, worked with aboriginals teaching ceramic art techniques and learning about their art and culture.
