About Me

I like meeting people through couchsurfing, they tend to be quite friendly and I've made a few good friends! My current fandoms are musical theatre and fifth harmony, trashy as they are. I'm also into feminism, trans activism, and sex worker rights.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly people I've hosted are friends that I've known before. I usually use couchsurfing to find places to stay, and I give my hosts english stuff. Like tea!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only couchsurfed twice so far. I like hearing people's stories and hearing them talk about their interests.

Interests

reading, going to live gigs, adventuring, travelling when I have the money, queer/ lgbt activism, volunteering, scrolling through tumblr.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to ghent and antwerp to visit my friends (two of them for the first time!) has been the best thing ever so far. I'd planned the trip less than a week in advance; it was a really spur of the moment thing. It freaked me out a little; just dropping things and leaving on an 8h bus ride, but SO worth it.

Vacationing in chicago with two awesome people. We went to boystown, lincoln park zoo, and the chicago diner.
Leakycon 2012 was the best; so many amazing best friendsies in the same place at once. The community atmosphere was amazing and so lgbtq-friendly.

Amsterdam in March 2012 after reading The Fault In Our Stars 8D

Been to LEAKYCON 2011~~~~ (a harry potter conference)
and flew to portland, and navigated the public transport.
Sunset Boulevard and the walk of fame in LA; that was nice. and then I saw The Miracals live at USC. 8D which was pretty good.

I love having friends stay over at my house.

Teach, Learn, Share

basic video editing, Mandarin, playing the ukulele. I could talk about feminism and social anthropology if you want. I'm also very fast at counting money... which isn't very useful unless I'm a cashier or accountant. Not sure if this counts, but I've been asked by my friends to braid their hair and I can paint nails. So if you'd like to feel like a 12 year old again, hit me up??

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Malaysia, Netherlands, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
