Overview
About Me
I really like foreign languages and getting to know more about other cultures; I therefore tend to see myself as a global-minded individual. I've been descibed as a friendly and polite person who gets along with all kinds of people.
During my free time, I like to read and train parkour (which I've been doing for 7 years). I'm also into actively following the current events through various news media.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my travels I've recognised that you get the best immersion into a city by exploring it with a local. I'm therefore trying to be a guest, and *maybe*, in the future, also to host others.
Interests
- languages
- travelling
- parkour
Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music is very varied (almost anything goes, in all languages that I know), and when it comes to books, I tend to prefer the classics (both old and modern).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did an InterRail trip around Europe alone at the end of Summer 2016, after my five-month stay as an exchange student in Göttingen, Germany had come to an end. I got to see awesome places, use foreign languages and meet new people in hostels, and to finally realise the spectacle of travelling the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
Interested in learning the local language (even if just a few words) and culture and seeing the city, along with getting to know more about the local ways of living. I'm also able to teach some Finnish (and other languages that I know, to my best ability) and Parkour.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Telling about the Finnish culture and, if interested, teaching some words of Finnish languge.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, France, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Turkey
Countries I’ve Lived In
Estonia, Finland, Germany
