About Me
Hello there, here is Valentina from Italy. I am a positive young woman, travelling the world any time possible. I think experience the world out there is a beautiful way to make my life more significant. Currently I am a Chinese language and culture teacher at high school in Milano city. I’ve started to study Chinese language in University in Milano city, but to go deeply inside these studies, I have lived for a while in China. I do really love my work: as a scout member I think to be an educator (and a teacher) it's one of the way to contribute to change in better this world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am friendly and easygoing person and I love meet with new friends, sharing experiences and stories. Discover new places means also discover a new culture, and people with different customs and traditions. These experiences I think are very important to grow mentally and ideologically.

Music, Movies, and Books
I do not have a specific favourite music: I think almost each kind of music could be appropriate depending of the situation and my mood ;) But sure I do enjoy partecipate on concerts. I don't use to watch very often movies, but I can enjoy it as well. Except for horror one ;) anyway instead of watching movie, I might prefer read I book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-I’ve crossed a river in Haerbin (China) because of the low temperature (-20°) that has made it an ice road
- I’ve literally flied down from the top of a mountain in Zhangjiajie (China)
Teach, Learn, Share
Two experiences of my life has touched me. From when I was child I was part of a Scout group. This experience helped me to grow up. I’ve experienced the community life, the wild life, live a simple life. The second experience was living in China. I decided to go there alone to improve my skills with the language. Although sometimes was hard, it was worthy for me leaving Italy for China five times in order to experience China in different ways. Now I have two places that I call home, and the certainty that understand who am I and what I want are so important to me to enjoy better the most important gift we all have: our life.
