ABOUT ME
Sorry for the late update but unfortunately I couldnt accept any guests at the moment :(

I enjoy and love forward momentum: I always do something. Making progress. Even when traveling, on a plane or bus or train for example, I either read books, write down my ideas, play guitar a little bit, take pictures-sharpen my abilities in photography, or just listen to music while enjoying the beautiful sceneries outside the window. If you see me being quiet, then probably I'm thinking about something... and that can be said as doing something, right? :)

I'm a curious person. I often times let my feet and wind carries me where to go and think, "hmm..., I wonder where this street will take me?" (in big cities I visited: Los Angeles, San Francisco and Istanbul, I was lost for 4-7 hours and discovered many interesting places where tourists don't normally know). Especially in a foreign country, I always curious in learning about the cultures, the dynamic ambiance of the life, the everyday life, talk to the local people, learn a new language, go to places where locals gather together, and just enjoy the moment.

My passion for photography has taken up above curiosity: I always take thousands of pictures on new places that I visit and where ever I go and see things that interest me, I will for sure take this moment to the perspective of my camera. (For example: when I lived in Istanbul for two and half months, I took 2.559 pictures) :D

Another thing about me is that I try to be positive as much as possible. This philosophy and way of thinking (and also probably way of life) can be concluded within a cheerful melody of an old song,
"I always look on the bright side of life"
:D

PS: On the top left of my detail information it says that this person's email might not be working properly. Well, I check my CS very often and will always respond to any requests and/or messages. I just submitted another email in which I have not opened for quite a while. So, there you go :)

PHILOSOPHY

Not to get tricked nor fooled by the life of today.

"It's okay to eat fish 'cause they don't have any feelings" - Kurt Cobain

"Woman spend more time thinking what men are possibly thinking than the time actually men spend thinking"

"Black is a color, white is a color. But why black and white TV cannot be considered as a color TV?"

"Don't hold your farts. They travel to your spine and up to your brain, and that's where shitty ideas come from"

Rider's motto: "Don't ride in front of me, I might kick your ass. Don't ride behind me, you might kiss my ass. Just ride beside me, so we can save each others' ass"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in CouchSurfing by providing help as much as possible: hosting surfers, showing around the city or recommend places, exploring the culture, take pictures [of course], giving travel advice.... I think the idea of CouchSurfing is to help each other, and it is great.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The very first Couchsurfing moment that I will always remember was surfing at a small house that belongs to a couchsurfer who invited us to stay over. And what I mean us were 12 couch surfers! The house was located near a mountain, on high elevation, only 15 minutes walk from gorgeous tea plantations, and 25 minutes ride to a natural hot spring water, up in the hill, overlooking the tea plantation: gorgeous views accompanied by endless laugh and amazing stories from those 12 couchsurfers with whom I stayed with. Just lovely. Such memories have great impact on me, I decided to be more active with CS for whatever I could help and contribute.

Another moment that I could consider as "couchSurfing" but it wasn't really officially called CouchSrufing because I had not known about it yet, was one week surfing at one of my friend's host family's home in Los Angeles. My friend's host family are both lawyers, live only 5 minutes from the Holywood Boulevard, and their hobbies are: collecting Sportscar!!!! So, one night, after defending one case in a court, the host dad took me and my other friends riding on one of the sportscar: a Mitsubishi Spyder that run almost 25O km/H at a High Way in Los Angeles, with an open roof!!! I can still remember the amazing sound of the engine, how fast it was that made the wind blowing tremendously fast [considering that he opened the roof - convertible. He said it was so that we could enjoyed the sceneries, but trust me, in 25O km/H all you want to do is to close your eyes and prayed that nothing bad will happen].

Amazing. These amazing moments have keep my faith for CouchSurfing.

Interests

Travelling, photography, foreign languages, culture, cooking, green tea, coffee, nice conversations [about any that come to our interests] accompanied by a good cup of coffee or tea, fruits and juice...

I just recently developed very strong interests in photography and cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to a broad genre of sounds like Jack Johnson, Nirvana, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Blur, Weezer, the Great Lake Swimmers, Greenday, Wir Sind Helden, Die Wise Guys, R.E.M., Wali, the White Stripes, Incubus, etc. Only recently I started to learn and listen to a much broader range of music by the Mynabirds or even Finnish Reggae by Raappana (One of my favorite so far is titled Maapallo).

Books: I generally read political science books for lectures, but for leisure and fun I read a lot of travel books. I also read few books about Hugo Chavez.

Movies: comedies!
When I was a kid, one of my cousin really liked playing a playstation game called, Resident Evil. This game really scares the sh*t out of me. And, due to this very bad memories I had during childhood, I do not watch horror movies. Period.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being an exchange student.

Meeting Ildefonso Guajardo, Minister of Economy of Mexico (Secretario de Economía).

Meeting Marty Natalegawa, Foreign Minister of Indonesia.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can travel and discover new places together, play guitar and sing together, cook together, go photo hunting together, we can come up with some ideas and lets do it together.

I think couchsurfing is giving great opportunities to teach-learn-share things all at the same time.

Countries I’ve Lived In

Japan, Turkey, United States
