About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Healing and Transformation

ABOUT ME
Just a guy who likes to travel, ponder, and dream. If Star Fleet was real I would join without thinking twice.

PHILOSOPHY

My dream is to achieve mastery in my life, to always be loving myself and others. I want my life to be a reflection of God.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mostly stay as a guest but I was a host one time. I will host more as soon as I am finished traveling and settle into my new home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All of my experience on Couchsurfing has been positive. I have been able to establish connections and make friends in Norway, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Couchsurfing is a excellent tool for meeting new people.

Interests

Listening to music is such a passive activity but I love it, I live for it. If I was denied access to music, I would sing my own songs. Love to read/research history and sociology, always attempting to better understand us, humans. Eating at cool little places with a friends, chatting for hours. Getting my boogie-on at the discotech. Sitting around with friends acting stupid, drinking beer and being ridiculous. And of course traveling the world

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch Dexter, In Treatment, Malcom in the Middle mostly American shows on HBO and Showtime or old shows I watched growing up like Martin or Darkwing Duck (don't hate!).Movies mostly drama, indie, comedies. Crazy, Stupid, Love. The Pianist, RoboCop, cheesy 80's movies like The Lost Boys..lol.I read anything that speaks to the human condition, mostly non-fiction Iris Chang, James Baldwin, Nathan McCall.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to visit a childrens orphanage in Kagoshima, Japan a few years back. I just spent the day with the children and I was happy I could have just a simple human exchange with them. This was in the countryside of Japan where they don't interact with foreigners on a regular basis, much less a black man from the States. Just seemed like none of that matter to us in that moment, we all just seemed to find the other fascinating. Amazing day for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Saturn just left my sign and it was one hell of a transit. Still recovering.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't have any professional experience teaching but I've been told I'm good at it.
I can cook (simple things).
I am a good writer (personal essays, entrance essays, research papers, commercial writing, and more).
Very good at organizing spaces.
I am an excellent listener (and empath), can help you get stuff off your chest.
