About Me

ABOUT ME

Happy-go-lucky dream chaser, footloose and fancy free, entirely made of oxygen.

I try to catch all the opportunies that life brings.
I'm definitely not good at cooking, but I'm getting more and more experienced in washing the dishes :)

PHILOSOPHY

Music, Movies, and Books

Once upon a time I was a funny teen with blonde hair, wearing baggy clothes, listening to rap music and hip-hop ;) Now it's more like Placebo, Parov Stelar, Manu Chao, Florence, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and many others... But if I had to choose only one song, it'd probably be "Ground beneath her feet" by U2, a masterpiece!

And definitely, you should read a novel "Ground beneath her feet" by Salman Rushdie. And books of Ryszard Kapuscinski and Jacek Hugo-Bader. And some Russian writers too, Bulgakov is a must, but also Yerofeyev, Pelevin... Ok, stop, generally, I love reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch-hiking through Serbia and Bosnia and getting to Sarajevo by a cistern.
Gobi Altai Mountains climbing early in the morning.
Eating dinner on the wild beach in Latvia.
Spending 1st anniversary of Kosovo independence in Pristina and Mitrovica.
Travelling back to Leeds from Manchester in a bus full of Polish emigrants, after voting in Polish parliamentary elections.
