About Me
I was born in Russia, but 9 years ago I decided to go study abroad, and that's how I ended up in the Netherlands. I wasn't really planning to stay permanently, but I grew to love the country, and now it really feels like home. For most of this time I have lived in Nijmegen, and even though now my new job is in Eindhoven, I refuse to move because Nijmegen is just so gezellig! :)
My biggest hobby and passion is Lindy Hop, it's a dancing style from 1930-s and it's seriously awesome. I've recently attended a couple of international workshops, and I think there will be many many more to come :D

Music, Movies, and Books
With books I have to hold myself back a little, because if I let myself run free I'll spend all my money on them and then get run over by a car because I was too busy reading instead of looking at the traffic light or something. My latest favourite one is "Three body problem" by Cixin Liu, it's kind of slow for science fiction and language may sound a bit strange for a western ear, but I really loved his take on the first contact And "Universe as a dark forest". Whoa.
The runner-up is a series by James Corey starting from "Leviathan wakes", that's the one that gets me to stay up all night reading and to ignore traffic lights. We'll see where it goes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I became a doctor! I wish it was the blue-box-and-sonic-screwdriver kind of doctor, but alas, it's just a regular doctor.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you the basic moves of Lindy Hop! Beware: Lindy hop has a tendency to consume more and more of your time until your whole life revolves around dancing.
And if you already dance, then chances are we might have already danced with each other at one or other social :D
