Prolog rant:
Please read my profile (also my home -section) before sending me request, that will save both of us some time! If there is no indication in your message that you have even looked at my profile I will decline with no further explanations. I might be able to host occasionally but since life is busy and the amount of requests is crazy I might fail to reply sometimes. I’m sorry about that.

Then about me:

I like to paint my furnitures with bright colors. I love the atmosphere in libraries and enjoy to wandering around in bookstores and flea markets. I like vegan 🌱 breakfasts, nightless nights, and walking with my eyes closed.

When I meet new people I enjoy having deeper conversations over a beer or coffee and going to random events or places together. I love to hear all sorts of peculiar stories (I am (screen)writer by my profession).

In a new city I usually try to find a place by some water (sea, river, lake). Also walking over bridges makes me weirdly happy.

Epilogue rant:

If you request to stay with me it would be nice to read something about you and why you think we could get along well. I have decided to host only surfers with references.

I understand that Helsinki is expensive, but for me hosting is more about getting to know people and sharing some time together and less about just offering a free accommodation solution. Please send me request only max 2 weeks prior to your arrival, I never plan months ahead!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

It is great to meet new people and hear their stories. When you share your private space and your everyday life with someone as you do in Couchsurfing, you often have a deeper connection with them than you would by meeting somewhere else. I love that. I don’t enjoy small talk that much. :D
