About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel through Italy, learn all about Romans and pasta and make a road movie

ABOUT ME

Hiya, just me, trying to live life as fast and furious as possible. I'm laid back and curious, hungry to see and travel as much as possible, meet new people and learn new ways of thinking and living, and hopefully grow a bit as a person on the way. And have a laugh. And get a few nice photos while we're at it.

Examples of my favourite ways to spend a night in no particular order:

1) Share a good dinner and a glass of wine with someone and talk to the small hours of the night about travels, arts, literature, cinema, politics, philosophy, the absurdity of life and love, the past and the present. Exchange views, experiences and perspectives, and learn something new about my partner-in-crime and maybe myself.

2) Just chillax cuddled up under covers with good films or TV - and snacks.

3) Get a few drinks, go out and have an absolute rave of a party and wake up in the morning with wild stories to share.

4) Meet someone completely new and experience something I've never done before.

5) Get kidnapped by aliens, who turn out to be really chill guys from Mars. They also reveal that they've reached the point of technological advancement that they've invented a time machine. I decide to time travel to Ancient Rome, where I share a pint with Virgil in a corner tavern, get to ride Hannibal's elephant and have the chance to snap some good shots in the Eternal City. Upon arriving back to my flat in modern times I find a letter telling me that I've been accepted to Hogwarts School of Withcraft and Wizardry.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to couchsurfing, but eager to exploit the community to the fullest! I unfortunately cannot host in my current flat as I don't have any extra couches or beds plus I have two flatmates, but hopefully this will change soon. I would, however, love to show couch surfers around in Glasgow and take them to my favourite eateries, cafés pubs, club nights, vintage shops, second hand book shops, record stores etc.!
I joined in order to meet new people and maybe find a few hosts when I travel through Italy in 31.5.-10.7. 2013. Wou

Interests

I was born with a permanent wanderlust and I constantly have a new travel project in the making. Love films and cameras, and I take out my faithful camera whenever I get the chance! Passionate about good food and drink. Love a good night-out, love a good conversation. Love museums and places where you can feel old culture and lived life around you. Love a good cup of coffee.

I should also warn you that have a secret nerd hiding inside me who now and then pops up in the form of niche facts, passionate tirades and enthusiasm whenever the conversation turns to ancient history or art, film classics, video games, shows, books etc...
