Hello I'm Tuur.
I live in Balen.
I like to be outside. I love nature and traveling. I don't need much comfort.
With friends I built a Log cabin at a piece of ground with a pond 5 kilometers from my home. I call it 'Paradise at the lake"
When I don't have to go work en when I'm not traveling, much chance you will find me here.
I like to hike and to travel by bicycle.
I think I made my first vacation cycling trip when I was 16 when I cycled to Antwerp with a friend and my brother and slept on a camping near the river. I packed everything on my rear rack with a carton box, because I had not anything else. Not a really good idea, because during our trip back to Mol, it began to rain and the box became weak and when I slipped a bit because of the rain everything fell on the ground. But it was a good experience, I learned to not use a carton box anymore on a bicycle.

Last year I made a 1 month solo trip by bicycle in the Balkan countries. I really liked it. I slept everywhere. In the tent, on a ferry, in hostels, with locals at their home, on the train, ...
