ABOUT ME
A sencond year Cognitive Neuroscience undergrad student living with 3 other fantastic people on the outskirts of the lovely city of Brighton and Hove. Lazy workaholic. I actually hate writing about myself as it is never going to be objectively, I'd rather let you form your opinion, when we meet
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed more than hosted and all couchsurfing experiences as of October 2011 have been overall positive. At this moment I am ready to host in a shared house I rent with my friends from uni and looking forward to do some more travelling using Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was a bit suspicious at the whole idea in the beginning - is it really safe to stay at other peoples places and to trust others with the keys to your house? Who would ever thought that couchsurfing community consists of wonderful people that you can entirely trust. This is amazing! So far so good :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Not a big film guy, but some of my favourites are Das Experiment, V for Vendetta, Cassandras Dream, In Brugges, Brilliantovaya ruka, Dzhentelmeni udachi, Operacija Y i drugie priklyuchenija Shurika etc.
Listen to all sorts of music, mostly depends on my mood, usually I go for folk, pop, pop/rock, basically anything with a catchy tune. I suggest you check out Peter and the Wolf, a band lead by Redding Hunter, Instrumenti, a panda duo from Europe and Tom Waits
Books: works by A. J. Cronin, Erich Maria Remarque, G. Orwell, Jules Verne, I'm a fan of The Master and Margarita by M. Bulgakov, Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
I am sure though, that there are much more music, films and books for me yet to discover
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing trip was my bicyle trip over Slovakia and Hungary in summer of 2010! That was a challenging voyage filled with fun and and meeting interesting people. The first time I used couchsurfing and will never regret that :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Latvian if anyone's interested. Will be happy to learn to cook and a bit of your language.
