ABOUT ME

I'm Amanda. I'm currently a graduate student at UCSD, which doesn't leave me a lot of time or money to travel, but I try to have a good time whenever I get the chance. I spend my days reading political science, but I prefer to just get out and take pictures -- I'm an amateur photographer. Other than that, I enjoy a good book and/or a good beer! The simple things in life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In 2007 I had my first real couchsurfing experience staying with people in Cambridgeshire - I hope I can surf more couches soon, but until then, I can't wait to show others around my home and host as many travelers as my schedule allows.

Music, Movies, and Books

My absolute favorite movie? Quite possibly, Swingers.

Have you read microserfs? It changed my life. That and Kant's Perpetual Peace.

I mostly listen to catchy pop-y music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love Gothic Architecture -- Ely Cathedral, Cambridgeshire is one of my absolute favorites, but I also loved standing atop the lovely King's College Chapel.
