About Me

I'm curious, creative, passionate and easy-going. Not a real plan maker. I take life as it comes and I try to squeeze in travel where I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think of Couchsurfing as a gateway to extraordinary experiences. It adds an intense and very interesting social layer, to traveling but also to daily life when hosting, that is completely unique in my experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Laid-back guitar tunes, Americana, Alternative Pop

I've made an attempt to learn Salsa and to play the guitar :)

Couple of movies (read: reccomendations!):
Abre los Ojos, Mr. Nobody, Before Sunrise, The Road, Tracks

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Central-America and the Ukraine were my two most exraordinary trips. Especially visiting the Chernobyl site in the Ukraine was a once in a lifetime experience. But lying on the edge of a fuming volcano in Nigaragua makes for good competition, as well as exploring a delerict train workshop in Budapest.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm eager to hear other people's views on anything really. From big issues to your favortie icecream flavor. I think we learn the most when we meet people with a different background and different thoughts and opinions.

I've kind of developed my own mantra: the only thing I know for sure is that I might be wrong about anything else. Turns out Socrates said the same!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My most memorable experiences meeting people on the road were the ones where I developed some sort of meaningful connection with someone in just a couple of days, or hours even. It's this kind of openness that I think is the most valuable thing I can share. Otherwise: thoughts, opinions, experiences, simply good company :)
