It's anything but easy to write a description of myself. The first thing that comes to mind is that I'm a really open-minded person (or at least I like to think I am). This being said, I enjoy meeting up with people whom I wouldn't meet in normal day life. I like sharing ideas and thereby looking at the world through the perspective of other human beings.

As for my hobbies:
I like sports, volleyball in particular. Furthermore I like music and play the guitar myself. I find playing chess pleasent as well. Lastly, cooking has become one of my favourite things to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I think that the only way to truly see the beauty of a country you're visiting, is through the eyes of the people that live there. Hosting travellers and surfing couches are ways to expand your way of thinking, far beyond the expansion one would gain from staying in a hotel and going with a travelling guide. The people are the culture, and the people are worth travelling for.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed a mountain on the border of Poland and Czech Republic with only shoes and shorts on. We managed to get to the foot of the peek, when a snowstorm started. At the top, the people in the weather station were nice enough to tell us it was -28,5 degree Celsius outside. This proofed to me that the human body is capable of much more than we think.
