ABOUT ME

I am a creative individual, and spend most of my time making crafts and art. I love to teach crafts to others or at least give a personal type of gift to special people I encounter in my life. When I am not making things, I look for inspiration in books, long walks, and people. I would say I am social and quiet when the occasion calls for it.

Interessi

I love to cycle wherever I need to go, even if the rain is pouring cold and wet. I paint and sketch when sitting alone, and I use lots of yarn to crochet animals, hats, gloves,lace and anything that seems like a good idea at the time I create it. I love to hike and camp, and am into yoga, and climbing as long as I am active. A good cup of coffee in the morning makes me content all day, and books are a sure fire way to keep me quiet.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Biking in Siem Reap was amazing, and the stone smiling faces within the temples of Angkor Wat took my breath away. I loved seeing nature dominate the man made temples even though they were a beautiful display of craftsmanship and dedication to something bigger.
Of course I can not forget the unbelievable beauty when the sun rose on Machu Picchu and crowned our shadows, cast on the adjacent waterfalls, with rings of rainbows. I never imagined life could be that beautiful even in the few seconds that the crowns lasted.
