Overview
About Me
Long-term mission: walking on the ancient silk road from China to Europe...learning natural building...becoming a vagabond...
ABOUT ME
I'm bored to live on a regular basis and always curious about new things. I'm motivated to learn and do things beyond my existed background. I found volunteering is absolutely one of the best ways to learn varied stuffs without being asked for diploma or experiences. As such, volunteers are not blocked from the things that interest them yet unfamiliar to them.
So I like combining traveling with volunteer work together. I spent some of the time doing volunteer work and the remaining time exploring the attractions. When I volunteered and traveled, I met ppl from different cultures and we swap ideas about traveling and life.
PHILOSOPHY
Changing what can't be accepted. Accepting what can't be changed.
Think before you speak. Read before you think. - Fran Lebowitz
I don't take any rules which are imposed by this society but are not fitting into my philosophy at all.
I appreciate the beauty of diversity.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lots of music, books and movies which I love so much in my life and in my future life. Now I just name few of them--
Books:
朝花夕拾——鲁迅
Persepolis--Marjane Satrapi
Ëatma-graha我执-- 梁文道
Mapping Human Histoty - Discovering the Past through Our Genes by Steve Olson
Magazine: National Geographic
Movie: La meglio gioventù (The Best of Youth)
Documentary: The Silk Road, jointly produced by CCTV (China) and NHK (Japan) in the 70's -- One of impressive narration phrased as "The Silk Road begins in Chang'an and ends in Chang'an."
My best love melody: Kitaro's Silk Road - the theme music of the documentary
The list goes up as I grow up~
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiked from Johor Barhu to Malacca.
Helped building roundhouse in Chiang Dao, Thailand.
Renovated a castle (Burg) in east Germany.
I hope I could experience more in the future!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Mandarin, Cantonese O(∩_∩)O and some basic sketch skills~
I can also talk about some Chinese history if you are interested in.
I hope someone would teach me advanced sketching techniques and designing (particularly in architecture)!
I also would like to learn anything about natural building and herb plantation.I also dream of building my own tiny house on wheels!
I'd also love to learn how to fix bicycle.
I am sick of people who generalize the whole population of a country and label or judge an individual with stereotype. I think we should start to learn a country with its history. So I would be very happy that you could tell me some stories, which were or not written in history books and which were remembered or not by the world.
If I have an opportunity to re-select my major, I would choose architecture/geography / earth science...so talking about the earth and architecture (including natural materials) are welcome!
