ABOUT ME

I'm a fun-loving, open minded person who loves to travel. I really enjoy exploring new places and meeting new people.
I'm a really easy going person, having me in your home will be no aggravation at all. If you'd like to show me around in your city, I'd really love that! But otherwise I won't bother you, all I need is a place on the floor to rest my head. I don't expect meals or anything. But I hope to find a little bit more than a host, maybe some new friends all over the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Take everything. Make the most out of every minute of your time. I've lived in the US for a year and it was kind of a spontaneous decision but I didn't regret it as I loved to make the experience of life there. I worked hard, but after a long day I still had the energy to go somewhere and listen to some music and in my opinion that's what it's all about: To try to make every moment to be something special. To try to make the most out of it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm bound to Frankfurt/Main as I started college and suddenly don't have much time for traveling any more, sadly. So I'm now offering a place to stay for travelers like others did for us while traveling through the USA.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had a big journy through all of the US in 33 days, starting from Miami/Florida, going up eastcoast to Washington DC, New York, Boston, then Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, going down westcoast to LA and then to Las Vegas in the desert. We had someone in each and every one of these cities to stay with, who was extremely nice and helpful and let us sleep in his/her house. We just had such a great time and mostly through couchsurfing since we had so much luck with the people we found who made our trip special, everyone in a different way.

Interests

A lot of music, I played the saxophone in two awesome bands back in Cincinnati, otherwise I like going to concerts where I spent most of my evenings. On other evenings I like to spend some time by the river, read a good book or watch a good movie. I don't like watching TV though, the commercials annoy the hell out of me. But my two favourite shows are "Scrubs" and "The Office".
Otherwise I like hanging out with friends, I'm a very social person and so I try to spend as much time with other people as possible.
I'm also interested in arts, I sometimes draw a little bit, but I'm no Picasso. And I can get hooked up with a very good book for an afternoon or more of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, the most amazing thing I've ever done was to catch a plane to the USA without thinking much about it, I stayed in New York with people I've never met before, than I came to Cincinnati to live with a family who was totally strange to me for a year. I left my home, my family, my loved ones for a big adventure and that's exactly what it was.
