ABOUT ME
I am a twin. I love reading, biking, vegetarian cooking. I am recently immersed in conversations about religion and spirituality. I like cats, the National Public Radio, camping, and Manu Chao. Not a big fan of shouting or mushrooms.
Update: I have come around and now love mushrooms.
PHILOSOPHY
We are the ones we have been waiting for.
"Curiosity, simplicity, tolerance." I was inspired by 'I wish your wish,' an work of art by Rivane Neuenschwander, which in turn was inspired by São Salvador’s church Nosso Senhor do Bonfim in Brazil. Though I may not live up to this ideal with ever action in my life, it is a guiding principle and I reflect upon it frequently.
"La razon no grita" --Luis A. Ferre
Additionally, I thrive on optimism.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One of my favorite visits was coming to Nice, France, at the same time that there was a local CS gathering. It was great to meet so many CS folks all at once! And I even learned a bar trick...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was grateful to live on a small, organic farm in Ossages, France, where I really learned how to eat and how to cook. A highlight was walking out my front door and picking the figs for a pie I was making.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm finding that I know a little about a whole lot... science, politics, queerness, religion, alpacas, computers, cooking, journalism, and art. I know enough to keep the conversation interesting, but not so much that I dominate.
