About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet people that open up my eyes to fabulous parts of the world that I have never experienced.
ABOUT ME
I am an avid traveler that travels during almost every vacation period. I’ve traveled to 39 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe.
Being a teacher, I am able to frequently travel during summer, spring break and winter break. During my travels, I love to see what regular natives do in their home town.
I enjoy seeing live music, salsa dancing, swing dancing and blues dancing. I can teach you how to dance pretty good salsa in 1 hour.
My other passion is being in nature and reading a good book outside. I am also a social butterfly and tend to get along with everyone. I love meeting new people.
I can easily adapt to anyone I am staying with. Being a special education teacher, I am used to be around many different types of people.
Here are 39 countries I’ve visited. Overall, I went to different countries 90x I’ve been able to do this by Couchsurfing for 11 weeks and by applying to grants like the Fund for Teachers Grant 2x and the Crossroads Grant.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once broke my tailbone in Ecuador when I jumped off a 40 foot waterfall. I won't do that again!
I also drove over dried lava to get to a clinic.
I volunteered at a school in a women’s prison in Ecuador. The children lived in the prison with their moms. 😢
