ABOUT ME

I'm a 24 year old guy, born and bred a corner of the globe called New Zealand. NZ is great - and I encourage all you travelers out there to head down here - but but for now, I'm more intent on exploring my beloved Europe :) When I'm not traveling, which alas, is most of my life... I'm a university student. Yep, one of those run of the mill types who leave assignments until they're due and complain about how students get a raw deal. Apart from being able to sleep in anyway...

I haven't been on this website in quite some time, and there is a bit of out dated information. I believe my "emails replied to" % is quite low, this is probably due to not being here. Though I don't actually have accommodation available at the moment :(

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted one couchsurfer so far, and then a friend of his that came. Met up with her in Finland later that year. Have couchsurfed in Bergen with 3 awesome Norwegians, and in Sweden with my great friend Sara. All experiences have been great! Hope that there'll be more in the future.

Traveling of course! Apart from that, I guess I'm like most other people. Socialising, going out, watching films, listening to music, cars, going to the beach, gaming, meeting new people and the like.

Some good films off the top of my head:

The Shawshank Redemption, Memento, Seven, Amelie, The Usual Suspects, The Pianist, LA Confidential, Donnie Darko, Sin City, Lost in Translation, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch. I'll have missed lots but its late.

As far as music is concerned, most of the stuff I listen to is rock. Although I can appreciate good music from most genres.

Got onto a train in Stuttgart Germany, only to walk into our old exchange student in the same carriage! That was crazy - or maybe I'm really boring? ;)
