ABOUT ME

I am (still) very excited to host and be hosted through CS. I consider myself blessed to have traveled as much as I have, but I look forward to much more. I am active and like to stay busy with a variety of hobbies like playing volleyball, reading, watching movies, running, shopping, baking, playing disc golf...

I'm happily married to an incredible guy who is fun-loving and easy-going. He also has the ability to have an enjoyable conversation with absolutely any one.

PHILOSOPHY

I am learning to not take life so seriously. I really would like to enjoy "now" so I can look back and remember what an incredible life I had.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The best part is when I meet couchsurfers on my travels, and then they come surf my couch! I'm a big fan of playing tour guide, meeting up for dinner, etc. even if you don't stay with me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a friend who has hosted and been hosted. Based on his experiences I decided to check it out. I have also traveled abroad on a budget so I am excited to provide a place for people to stay that doesn't cost a fortune.

Interests

Someone once told me I was "a jack of all trades and a master of none." While I resent this comment, I still appreciate the fact that I am well-rounded. I may not be an expert at one thing, but I am up for (almost) anything!

Big fan of volleyball and disc golf but also sports, music, shopping, coffee, lunch, hiking, biking, running, traveling, reading, etc.

Books: I read a lot of fiction. Nicholas Sparks... Favorite book: Unbroken.

Movies: big fan of romantic comedies mostly (Just Go With It.) Favorite movies are Corrina Corrina, Ice Age, & Remember the Titans

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to act as a tour guide/driver when possible. I would love to teach my guests English if they are interested. I would also love to practice Spanish.
