CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to enjoy life, grandchildren, people I meet on the path or on my couch.

ABOUT ME

Please don't pick me if you like to sleep in. I am up almost every day at 6:00 am. The couch is in my living room, so the guest(s) have to be up early too. So, it's early to bed (by 10:30) and early up (7:00 am at the latest).

Also, I have a very friendly, long-hair cat who loves to cuddle. Cat hair is pervasive and will get on your clothes.

Please, no heavy scents. No smokers please.

I am a happy, fit 60 year old gramma who does not own a car. I get around on my bike and the bus. I love not having a car; I don't have to carry the psychological weight of it with through my life. I work out three times a week; I swim, cycle, row, and take fitness classes.

I have a fuzzy headed mystic way of looking at the world and that works for me. I have been a life long loner; I love people, I just don't do them well long-term. I am a happy person and like to have happy people around me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had six couchsurfers (one visited twice).

April 2010: It is going to be a busy summer. Already I have three different women planning to surf with me.

Interests

Gardening, cycling, working out, watching grandson hockey and grandson basketball, baking, reading, cooking, painting, journalling. And right now, anything mushroom. I am a forager and now I am painting them and sculpting them. For what reason, I do not know, I just know that is where my creativity is leading me. I am also learning calligraphy.
