Leah:Here's my facebook: just friend request me and say you are from Couch Surfing! http://www.facebook.com/leah.m.sawyer?ref=profile I love going out and entertaining new and old friends at home. There's nothing like good weather, good food, good vino, and good people. Top Two priorities in my life: Living my dream and traveling the world with the love of my life, Ben! First stop Rio de Janeiro, Cidade Maravilhosa on March 2nd!!!! and getting ready for Burning Man (if you don't know what it is ask, it an amazing art community that is self sustaining for 10 days!)Ben:I attended college in Milwaukee, WI and Luebeck, Germany receiving electrical engineering degrees from both universities. I've spent almost 10 years working in the Automation field throughout the US and Europe; building machines that build cars, bottle coke, cut metal with lasers, and print at lightning fast speeds.

PHILOSOPHY

The film is always rolling, there is no dress rehearsal, no regrets, and stay away from the mundane!

Traveling around hoping for interesting people to open a door into their world! We have a travel and cooking blog dedicated to hostel cooking: http://hostelcookers.com so we'd love to share a meal with anyone interested! We are very interested in Art, so if you are an artist we'd love to see your work and your studio.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted lots of friends at our home in Atlanta, and our home in Salzburg. We've surfed around in South America, and meet some amazing people along the way.

We loved Exit Through the Gift Shop. Big fan of Dubstep, we think Lil' Wayne is Hilarious, enjoy rock, jazz, blues, and can appreciate a good concerto. love to read. book recommendations ALWAYS welcome!! =)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Leah:
Whale watching in Cabo, Lake Tahoe, Aztec Ruins, Vegas, World Cup 2010 in South Africa, falling in Love (save the best for last =))

Ben:
Watched the city of Istanbul fall asleep and awake.
VAPPU in Finland.
Hiked and Skied the Alps.
Shark Fished in the Florida Keys.
Ate Truffles in Istria.
Visited over 50 countires
Fell in love with a beautiful girl while glass blowing in Atlanta.

Teach, Learn, Share

Leah:
I can teach people how to surf, skateboard, and snowboard.
I play the piano, so I can teach you that if you like.
I can help you brush up on your English.
I can cook you food. I love to cook especially when I'm traveling! =)

I would love to learn more about customs and fashion and other cultures. I'm sure you can teach me or show me any of your talents and I would be amused.

Ben:
I'm pretty resourceful on a computer. Interested in electrical engineering. also enjoy art projects. i can build a mean pinata. very patient with new learners! and always willing to help where i can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have a lot of experience with computers and electronics - building, programming, arduino project design.

Also, we took a 2 year sabbatical to travel, so we can help with recommendations.
