About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living the Dream in Portland

ABOUT ME

Have an idea, want to go try something? Why not, let's go do it! I'm always ready for a new adventure or to try something new, whether it is hiking in the mountains, enjoying downtown cafes, or partying it up in the clubs. I am currently living in Portland and working for a start-up software company. I am always willing to show someone around and hang out, because your best memories and experiences are often hanging out with the locals, not stuck at some tourist trap. My family and friends are very important to me, and I try to stay in contact with all of the people I have met along the way. I know it is sappy, but treat others the way you want to be treated, because it can come back and bite you in the ass. I also enjoy watching movies, hanging out with friends, and enjoying the smaller things in life. If your in town (or live there), give me a shout, I'll be here waiting.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone I meet is an opportunity to network. I try to keep in touch with everyoen I meet along with way, because no matter who they are or where they are from, chances are I can find something in common with that person. And you never know, that one person could end up being a valuable contact and a lasting relationship.

I like to just go with the flow of life. It's good to be organized and have a routine, but sometimes you have to just say screw it and whatever happens happens. Fly to a new country for the weekend and just wing it, why not? Work hard, and play harder.

Interests

As for the outdoors: rock climbing, sky diving, cliff jumping, fishing, hunting, rafting, any sports, hiking, backpacking....you name it

As for the city: exploring the history of any city, architecture, art, movies, partying, shopping, working out, happy hour....even just sitting outside at a cafe with a glass of wine is great.

I am also highly into CrossFit!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy most music and enjoy listening to new artists and genres that are recommended. Speficially I listen to a lot of hip hop, country, techno, differnt types of rock, and anything you can dance to.

As for books, I am open to reading anything as long as I don't have to analyze it (got burned out of doing that in school). I love history, but will read anything from management books to counterterrorism fiction to autobiographies.

As for movies....well I watch a LOT of movies, and I will just leave it at that.
